O putere nominala de 10 kW nu produce aceeasi cantitate de energie in toate zonele tarii. Diferenta dintre 1.150 si 1.400 kWh/kWp/an din setul de preevaluare inseamna o variatie de aproximativ 2.500 kWh/an pentru aceeasi putere instalata.

Productia anuala este doar primul pas. Pentru autoconsum trebuie comparata productia cu consumul in aceleasi intervale de timp. Pentru proiectele mai mari trebuie analizate suplimentar terenul, racordarea, limitarile de injectie si, unde este justificat, stocarea.
